    It was made in 1750 b.c. It was the governing body of Babylon. I think this set of laws is very important, it still applies today to many parts of the world. It shows we are still making the same mistakes today that we were making thousands of years ago

    The American Revolution changed the whole world. It started one of the most powerful and successful countries of all time but it showed other countries that they could break away from their oppressive rulers. It's important because it reshaped the world as we know it. This happen on the eastern coast of North America. 1775- 1783

    I thought this was important because France is a big and powerful nation. It broke away from its oppressive rulers and moved to a more democratic way of ruling their country. This happened in France. 1789-1799

    The Nuremberg trials were a huge victory for world wide peace. It showed the whole world that we could all come together and make decisions for the greater good of all nations. It lead to the idea of a national court or the United Nations. 1945-1949
  • Vietnam communism/ war

    The Vietnam war was the most controversial war and the only war we haven't won. We went to war in Vietnam because if they were to turn to communism it would cause all of the surrounding nations to turn as well. They explained it as the domino effect. This is important to us because it changed American relations with many nations worldwide. This happened in Vietnam 1955-1975
  • Tank man

    Tank man is a world wide known event. People find hope in it or they see the passion to stand for what's right. Tank man showed us that you could stand against an oppressive government and we didn't need weapons to do it, we could do it by ourselves.
