  • Hobbes publishes Leviathan

    Leviathan is a book about human nature. The book questioned human anarchy and it affected ruler and preacher for citizens. This book also showed the way Hobbes looks at society and the political views. Hobbes felt that a monarchy gave a better authority.   • Locke publishes Two Treatises on Government

    The book Two Treatises on Government was about arguing on divine rights. He believed that government can exist only with the consent of free people. It was an influenced thought.     Conditions at the century determined the political and social structure. Influenced the constitution on Democracy and of powers. Offered wide comparative analysis of government institutions. Argued the type of government varied depending on the circumstances.
  • Rousseau The Social Contract Emile

    This was an attempt to reunite liberty of the individual with the authority and government. Emile was important for education. He said the first who thought of saying "this is mine" created civil society. Civil society is ruled by violence.
