In 1987 the work enviorment wasnt as goood as it is today. Thw work enviorment back then was so bad. Th people would always get hurt, stuff would go unrecorded, etc.

In the slaughterhouse, the sanitation would be horrible. There would be rats, bloods, it would still smell. Everything was nasty.

One of the workers that worked in the High Plains area, always got hurt & he'd always come back. He got hurt cleaing, driving the truck, packing the meat,etc. One day he felt a pain in his chest and he had a heart attack. They fired him.

A ot of workers are undocumented. They are bing threatened to get fired, they have to under go hazerdous conditoins if they wants to keep there jobs.

Today slaughterhouses have well planed cleaning processes. The buildings are sanitized and disinfected.
