    WCTU was founded in Cleveland. This group was formed to stop the selling of alcohol. With a record high of approximately 245,000 by 1911, they became the largest women’s group in the nations history.
  • NAWSA Formed

    A group that joined with NWSA. Important leaders with that were Lucy Stone and Julia Ward Howe.
  • Carrie Chaapman Catt and New NAWSA Tactics

    Took over presidency of the group from Susan Anthony. Had 5 things that she focused on about getting equality for all women.
  • 19th Amendment

    At last the 19th amendment gave women the right to vote just as men of all color did. WoooooHooooo
