    Carry Nation and the WCTU
    Women members went to saloons,singing, praying, and urging saloonkeepers to stop selling alcohol. By 1911 this group was tthe largest women group in the nation.

    This group was joined by the women sufferage association they acheived four state territories and they were wyoming, Utah, Colorado, and Idaho

    She had created five new tatics and they were; 1.) painsaking organization, 2.) Close ties between local, state, and national workers, 3.) establishing a wide base of support, 4.) catious lobbying, and 5.)gracious, Ladylike behavior.

    19th admendment
    Granted women the right to vote. The admendment won final ratification on August 1920. Over 72 years after women had first convened and demanded the vote at the seneca Falls convention in 1848.
