    In 1848 after the Seneca Falls convention, women were not allowed to vote but the african amerians could so Susan B. Anthony said "I would sooner cut off my right hand than ask the ballot for the black man and not for women." And by that she made it known the women wanted change.

    In 1871 Susan B. Anthony and the other women attepmeted to vote at least 150 times in ten different states. and finally the Supreme Court ruled that women were citizens. but then they denied that citizenship conferred the right to vote. So Susan almost got the women to achieve their goal.
