    Founded The national womens suffrage association(NWSA) which united with another suffrage group in 1890 to become the national american women's suffrage asociation (NAWSA).

    In 1871, Susan B. Anthony and other women tested that question by attempting to vote at least 150 times in ten states and the District of Comlumbia. This led to the suprme court rulling that women are citizens but, saying that just because they are citizens doesn't give them the right to vote.

    The 19th Amendment
    This was the amendment that granted women the right to vote. The amendment won final ratification in August 1920 which was 72 years after women had first convened and demanded the right at Seneca Falls.
