In 1929 the Drought started it was totally unpredictable and no one was prepared. All the farms' crops died slowly and the farmers could do nothing about it. Within a year most of all the farmers' crops were dead. And by this time most of the farmers' sold their farms and look for jobs in the cities around them. Soon after a cloud of grasshoppers came by and ate what was left of the crops. Families had no plan on what to do. Due to their generations living there all those years, many were sad.

Indigenous people have been fighting in wars forever. In the seconded world war, they served as Armed Forces. They do all their sacrifices, Courage, and completed goals to help protect and serve their country. Indigenous people had to fight cultural challenges. There were many women and men who left their homes due to the seconded World War. This happened because many women and men had challenges for peace.

In the first world war, women were only allowed to heal the army soldiers and nothing else. But in the second world war women were allowed to do so much more than they used to be able in the first world war. During the second world war, women were encouraged to work in factories, building ships, producing munitions, conductors and etc. They were encouraged by a fictional character named Rosie the Riveter which is based on a real person named Rosalind P Walter who died early this week at 95.

When Nazi Germany started the second world war, Canadian Policy for immigration refused to let people who are seeking refuge inside Canada. In 1940, Britain finally convinced Canada to agree to their deal and taking in "enemy aliens" and the prisoners. However, Canada was not expecting to see 2,284 refugees most of them being Jews seeking shelter. Then Canada's Jewish community welcomed other refugees to wonderful freedom called the "camp boys".
