    Publicly spoke to campaign against slavery. She was white and became an abolitionist when she learned she will recieve barley half of what a man will make as a teacher.

    Angelina published an "Appeal to Christian Women of the South". SHe made this to overthrow the system of oppression.
  • seneca falls convention

    one of the first womens rights conventions. held in Seneca Falls, NY. Mostly women attended with few men who also publicly spoke.
  • Elizabeth Blackwell

    First women to graduate from college. Women at the time were limited to education, after more school were made during this movement women attended college.
  • Sojourner Truth

    Truth traveled the country preaching, she was an aboitionist. Spome at a women's rights convention to prove even black women need more rights because they're treated even worse than white women.
  • Temperance Movement

    This movement was created to throw off the women's rights convention.
