    Catherine Of Aragon

    Catherine of Aragon was Queen of England from 1509 until 1533 as the first wife of King Henry VIII; she was previously Princess of Wales as the wife of Prince Arthur. she was a spanish pricess, once mariied to henrys older brother, she brought friendship with spain. she was clever and popular. all her male babies died but she had a daughter called mary who survived. Henry thought catherine was old and boring and when she reached the age of 40 he divorced her.

    Anne Boleyn

    Young, fashonable, and very sexy. Made henry wait for sex until he married her. Henry secretly married Anne Boleyn (January 25th). Marriage between Henry and Catherine of Aragon was annulled in April by Cranmer. Act in Restraint of Appeals introduced. Anne was crowned queen on May 31st. Elizabeth was born on September 7th. henry sulked because he wanted a boy.miscarried a baby boy in 1536. henry accused anne of having sex with four men and her brothers. despite no proof she was beheaded in 1536.

    calm, gentle and caring.she tried hard to be friends with henrys daughters. made henry wait for sex until he had sex. she had a sone called edward. henry was delighted. jane died of an infection a few days after the birth.

    Anne Of Cleves

    Marriage to Anne of Cleves (January). cleves is an area of what is now called germany. close to flanders and france. henry married cleves because it brought friendship between england, wales and this powerful region. she was serious and unfashionable. friends tried to teach her some of henrys favourite card games, but she didn't understand them. henry had seen the painting of her and liked what he saw. however when he saw her for real, he described her as fat. henry divorced her.

    Marriage to Catherine Howard (July)she was young, lively and very pretty. she flirted with lots of men and henry found out. she once finished of her letter to th lover with the words, "yours as long as life endures". henry was furious. he also found out she had several serious boyfriends before he met the king. she was then executed in 1542
