A Bully on the Ship
William Bradford faced many problems aboard the ship as he was sailing toward Cape Cod. One of those problems being a "bully" upon the ship. He knew that God had a plan for everyone inlcuding this "bully" and that the lord was with him in this time. “But it pleased God before they came half seas over, to smite this young man with a grievous disease, of which he died in a desperate manner, and so was himself the first that was thrown overboard." -
The Ship Starts to Fall Apart.
while sailing on the seas, Bradford still faces challenges that god is on their side for. "with the working of the ship they would not long keep staunch [watertight], yet there would otherwise be no great danger, if they did not overpress her with sails. So they committed themselves to the will of God and resolved to proceed” -
Man Overboard!
God controls everything and with his good sunshine moods, comes gods bad moods with storms. But god knows the difference between a ood person and a bad person therefore if there is a bad erson on a boat, he will punish them and save the good people. "above the gratings was, with a seele [sudden lurch] of the ship, thrown into sea; but it pleased God that he caught hold of the topsail halyards which hung overboard and ran out at length” -
Everybdy Gets Sick
when people get sick, god has responsibility to make them better if he so chooses. “And yet the Lord so upheld these persons as in this general calamity they were not at all infected either with sickness or lameness” -

once the settlers landed in Cape Cod, they had many different people to keep in their minds that they were taking over their land. He was their leader while they were learning the land. "was also their pilot [guide] to bring them to unknown places for their profit, and never left them till he died”
