Scientific Revolution

The Scientific Revolution is a series of events that happened between the 16th and 17th century. It had an effect on the world because it introduced new knowledge systems, social hierarchies, and networks of people.

The Enlightenment

From the late 17th century to the late 18th century was a period of intellectual changes called the Enlightenment. Being driven by mainly philosophers, it was a scientific/intellectual and political movement.

Ingredients for revolution

There were many revolutions that school the world during the early 19th century. The causes of the revolutions were connected through new intellectual/political views/economic issues.
