The Indian removal act was signed into law by president Andrew Jackson in 1830. This act allowed Indians to be removed from their homes by the US. Many chose to fight for soverignty, and others were forced out and accepted it.

Due to President Jackson's Indian removal act law, all Indians were forced out of their homes. They were sent to migrate to an area of present day, in Oklahoma.
