    Statement of the second continental congres that defined the colonists rights, outlined their complamts against Great Britain, and declared the colonies independance. How long was the American Revolution and what did it do to the newly formed U.S. economy?
    It weakended the U.S. economy. 1775-1783

    We bought it and a treaty. We bought it from Napaleon and France. Why were the Mississippi River and the city of New Orleans so important to the U.S. economy?
    It doubled the size of the U.S. and they could expand father west. Which U.S. President is credited with purchasing this land and how much money di the U.S. spend to buy it?
    Jefferson $15 million. What did the addition of this land do to the size?

It was unconstitutionel because the president didnt tell him to attack. 3.Adams-onis treaty Spain got Texas responsibility for up to $5 million of U.S. cittizens clains against Spain. U.S. got East Florida and West Florida.

    They belived that nothing could stop this growth from taking place. This expansionst view became know as manifest destiny. Who did Americans and the U.S. Government believe gave them the right to expand Westward and take control of new lands?
    Many Puritan colonist had believed North America was a promissed land that God had given to them so they could set up a new society. More power political, social, and economic influences.
