Tony and Maria talk
Maria learns about the upcoming fight from Anita, and when Tony arrives she asks him to stop the fight altogether, which he agrees to do. -
PEACE!
The gangs meet under the highway. As the fight between Bernardo and Diesel begins, Tony shows up and tries to stop them from fighting each other. -
Riff's Death
Bernardo taunts Tony, trying to get him angry,and eventually pushes him. Riff punches him in Tony's defense. The two draaw knives and start fighting each other. Tony tryes to get Riff to stop, but he wont listen. Riff gets a chance to kill Bernardo, but Tony holds him back. When Riff turns back to the fight he is accidently stabbed by Bernardo, and killed. -
Tony's Outrage
In a fit of anger for Riff, Tony kills Bernardo leading to a free-for-all fight. The police eventaully show up, but everybody had already fled. -
Bad News!
Chino brings news of Bernardo's death at the hand of Tony to Maria.Tony arrives at Maria's apartment, and she is angry with him, but still loves him. They plan to meet each other at the Doc's and run awat together. -
Anita and Maria talk
Anita gets mad at Maria and tells her how bad Tony is for her. She then realizes how much they love each other and tells to her that Chino has a gun and is looking for Tony. -
WAIT FOR HER
Schrank arrives and questions Maria about her brothers death, so Anita goes to Doc's to tell Tony to wait up. -
Ambush
The Jets are waiting for Anita and atatck her. The Doc eventaually breaks it up, and Anita delivers the wrong message that Chino had killes Maria. -
Begging
Doc tell Tony of Marias "undoing" and having no reason to live. Tony tries to find Chino and beg him to take his life. -
TONY'S UNTIMELY DEATH
Just as Tony sees Maria alive, Chino shoots and kills Tony. -
ITS OVER
Maria holds Tony in her hands then after takes Chino's gun and says its everyones fault that he is dead, because of there hate for each other. She then says that she can kill people to because she now has hate for them. All the members of both gangs assemble on either side of Tony's body, showing that the rivalry is over.
