Vision: To ensure every student who enters the Vista PEAK Campus graduates with a high school diploma, college credits and/or degrees, industry credentials and certifications in order to be successful in postsecondary and workforce experiences.

A community vote was conducted to determine Vista PEAK's mascot and school colors. Vista PEAK's name was designed to reflect theSuperintendent's Vista 2010 Strategic Plan and the Vista PEAKs beliefs of Prepare, Explore, Access and Knowlege.

Vista PEAK becomes a PBiS school.

Vista PEAK's student population votes to name our school mascot Tyson the Bison.

Vista PEAK exploratory was home to all preschool - 9th grade students during the 2010-11 school year. The student population was 877 students.

Melanie Moreno joins the Vista PEAK staff as a Pathways Director.

APS board of education votes in favor of Vista PEAK's innovation plan. Vista PEAK begins as a school of innovation during the 2011-12 school year.

The Preparatory building onens on the Vista PEAK campus. The first year open, the Preparatory building held 7th - 10th grade.

Vista PEAK recieved their first School Performance Framework and was rated as red/turn around status. Vista PEAK's Instructional Leadership team collaborated and wrote Vista PEAK's first Unified Improvement Plan.

Vista PEAK Exploratory was home to 916 students in preschool - 6th grade during the 2011-12 school year.

Vista PEAK's first year as a school of innovation brought PoWeR (postsecondary workforce readiness) experiences to the campus. The first PWR session, lasting one week the fall of 2011, was a huge success bringing intervention and extension opportunities to many students.

Vista PEAK holds the inaugural Bison Stampede, a 5K event and kid fun run brining staff, students, parents and community members together.

Vista PEAK becomes a No Place For Hate school.

Stuart Ritchie joins the Vista PEAK staff as Assistant Director of the Exploratory building. Stuart stayed in this position for the 2012-13 school year.

The Bison Corral opens as a school store to support the PBiS program. Students can purchase items from the corral with Bison Bucks that they earn for positive behaviors.
