    The idea of every citizen has an equal opportunity of having in turn a share in the government constitutes the concept of democracy. Democracy is a very widely used government around the world. The creator wanted a transition from exploitation of aristocracy to a political system, where all the members of the society have an equal share. I think this is important because it is what our government is based off of, along with many other countries around the world.

There are many writers for the Bible, but the main objective in the Bible is to believe in all of the Bible and follow it and you will get to heaven. The Bible is important to many Christians today in their walk of life.

It provides a path in which Muslims follow for the afterlife.

    Gutenberg devised a printing press that could print copy after copy in just a small fraction of the time, the whole world changed dramatically. This allowed one copy to be printed multiple time for everyone to have their own copy. Gutenberg wanted to create a easier way to print religious text, political pamphlets, and books for learning. This piece of art is important to our lives everyday. If we did not have copy machines for school, school would not be the same.

    The painting of The Last Supper by Leonardo da Vinci is a painting of the Last Supper that Jesus Christ had with his apostles. Leonardo painted this painting because it was commissioned by Duke Ludovico Sforza for the refectory of the monastery of Santa Maria delle Grazie in Milan. This painting is important to many Christians today who believe that this has some religious value and is hung for display in some church buildings.

    The Creation of Adam by Michelangelo
    The Creation of Adam is a painting depicting how Adam was created by God. This painting is located is on the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel. Adam is on the left and God is on the right. You can see Adam and God reaching out to each other showing that Adam was made by God. The message Michelangelo is displaying is how man is made in the image of God, words that came straight from the Bible. This work is important because it helps us understand Michelangelo’s palette and the world he painted.

    A tragic drama written by William Shakespeare, Romeo Montague and Juliet Capulet are teenagers who were based on real lovers in Verona, Italy who fall deeply in love but their families are bitter enemies. There is a total of 25,948 words that complete this tragedy. The message Shakespeare was trying to say is that if two people love one another enough, nothing will come between them and would die for each other. This work is important in to evolution of literature. It help mold what it is today.

    Another story written by Shakespeare, except this one is bit more darker and more cynical, which reflect the insecurities of the Jacobean period. Shakespeare's play Macbeth is to some extent a cautionary tale, warning any other potential king-killers of the awful fate that will inevitably overtake them. Macbeth is much like Romeo and Juliet because they both were important pieces of work that helped shaped the novels and poems we know today in the world.

    Also known as experimental self-observation, Wundt's technique involved training people to carefully and objectively as possible analyze the content of their own thoughts. Wundt believed that there were two key components that make up the contents of the human mind: sensations and feelings, that is what Wundt was trying to accomplish. This is important because it failed and scientist completely dismiss this theory. They showed no scientific reliability which lead to changing the process.

    Cut Piece by Yoko Ono
    Cut Piece, first performed in 1964, was a direct invitation to an audience to participate in an unveiling of the female body much as artists had been doing throughout history. Ono sat silent upon a stage as viewers walked up to her and cut away her clothing with a pair of scissors. The goal was to erase the neutrality typically associated with society’s objectification of women in art. This is important because it was a strong feminist statement which led into many other feminist movements.

    Rhythm 10 by Abramović
    Abramović uses a series of 20 knives to quickly stab at the spaces between her outstretched fingers. Every time she pierces her skin, she picks out another knife. Abramović is trying to accomplish showing the audience the use of ritual in her work. This demonstrates what Abramovićn describes as the synchronicity between the mistakes of the past and those of the present. This is something that is important today because we learn from our mistakes. Even if we get hurt, we still learn.
