  • The American civil war

    The American civil war started in 1861 12 April and ended in 1865 9 May, The American Civil War was a civil war fought from 1861 to 1865, to determine the integrity of the United States of America as it defeated the bid for independence by the breakaway Confederate States of America.
  • Machines in the past

    Machines were in the process of being invented. People tried to have more ideas on how to create machines and what they could do. They tried to make machines that could do they're work for them so they could spare time for people. When machines were invented, it made life easier but worse at the same time.
  • Industrial revolution

    The Industrial revolution started in 1 January 1760 and ended in 1835, The Industrial Revolution was the transition to new manufacturing processes in the period from about 1760 to sometime between 1820 and 1840.
  • Captain James crook found Australia

    Captain James Cook was sent out by the King to look for new land. On the voyage of defeat, Cook was about to give up when he found an unknown land. He went there and found it was un-colonised and decided to call the new land New Holland. He sailed back to the King to tell him the good news. The King then told Capt. Arthur Phillip to colonise the new land.
  • Australian colonisation

    In 1788, two years after the decision to colonise Australia was made, Captain Arthur Phillip and 1,500 convicts, crew, marines and civilians arrived at Sydney Cove. Captain Cook (1728-1779)
