    This was the first video tape recorder. It was developed by Nobutoshi Kihara who worked for Sony. It made it possible to record black and white television shows. It paved the way for the VCR.

    This was a large black and white camera with a separate record only VCR unit. It was developed by Sony. It was much smaller than previous recording devices and cheaper. It gave people ability to shoot their own movies and record memories in a way photographs couldn't.
  • Magnavox Odyssey

    Magnavox Odyssey
    First home video game system. The hardware was designed by a team led by Ralph Baer and the company Magnavox completed the development. This opened the door to the wide world of video games, millions of people have enjoyed playing on different consoles.

    The first desktop computer was Invented by Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak. It was the worlds first user friendly personal computer. It set the tone for the way the world operates today.

    Developed by Kozo Ohsone, this device was very portable and ran on two AA batteries. It gave people a way to enjoy music while doing various activities without bothering other and it paved the way for other personal music devices such as the CD walkman.
