They found new coaches and new players and made a new team. U.S soccer went the the University of North Carolina coach Anson Dorrance to coach the team. He accepted.

In the time span of him coaching them the team won four out of the 23 national titles. They were the first Women's World Cup in FIFA's history that won all six of its games out scoring its opponents 25-5 and beating Sweden, Germany and Norway in the process.

Over the years the team and gained new coaches, new players, new trainers. They have lost some coaches, players and trainers. They have won many World cups and many Olympics.

The first time women's soccer was ever part of the summer olympic games. They ended up winning gold. They were the first ever women's soccer team to win gold in the olympic games.
