The British goverment was scared that a vwar might start and they don't have the money. -

Stamp Act
The stamp act put taxes on offical documents. It affected colonist and merchants. Most pepolr ignored it. The reson they inforced it was to pay of deta for the war. -
Quartering act
The quartering act made colonis house soilders becuase the goverment did not have money. The colonist had to feed and house the soilders. -
Townshead acts
The townshead acts suspended New York's assembly line. Also the act put taxes on British goods. -
Tea act \ Boston party
The tea act requried colonis to buy tea from Britian only. But then a few pepole got mad, destroyed tea worth one milloin dollers and dressed up as Native Americans -
Battle of lexigton and concored
In Lexigton some shot there gun so they started to shoot at each other and the red coats won. In Concored the patriots sarouned the red coats and would have won but the red coats got reenforcemeants. -
Olive Branch
The Patriots sent a peace leater and once the king reafd it he rejected it and closed all portes. -
Declaration of Independants
The colonies wanted to split from Great Britian becuase of the kings harsh punishment and becuase they wanted to split they made a leater to the king with pepoles signature.
