    Fighting began with the Battle of Lexington in April 19th 1775. It officially ended with the Treaty of Paris in January 14th 1783. This was important becsause it was where a lot of our Americans died and a lot of blood was shed.

    It began with the battles of Lexington and Concord on 19 April 1775.
    It ended in 1781 in Yorktown, Virginia after George Washington forced General Cornwallis to surrender. This started because the British started putting taxes on everyday items. This is impotant because it shows that the U.S can rebel against other countries.

    On September 17, 1787, the Constitution was signed by 38 of the 41 people from all states except Rhode Island. This is significant because this was the day we signed a paper that pretty much had all of the laws for the U.S.

    Today was when Abe Lincoln was elected. This is very significant to America because Abe Lincoln was one of the important reasons U.S.A won the Civil war.

    The American Civil War started on April 12, 1861. It was the North vs South. It is significant because this was where the most Americans died.

    General Lee's of the South surrender on April 9, 1865 the end of the war. This was critical to history because it was when slavery stopped.

    WW1 took place from the 28 of July 1914 to the 11 of November 1918. Hundreds of thousands of deaths and dozens of countries. Pretty significant effect on the landscape of the world.
