    Chistopher Columbus
    An Italian explorer sailing for Spain who believed that Asia (India) could be reached by sailing west from Europe. His first voyage was in 1492, wherein he discovered North America (Caribbean islands) and named it the West Indies. He will make four voyages to the new world without fully realizing what he had discovered.

    Middle Passage
    A voyage of african slaves across the atlanic ocean. Also carried other goods like cotton, guns, ammo, etc.
  • James Town

    James Town
    The first perament settlement located near the Williamsburg, Virgina. It was an England colony as; well set up in may 1607. Tobacco saved them from being a poor to rich.
  • Plymoth

    English Pilgrams aboard the Mayflower sailed for two months. Anchored at Plymoth rock. Wanted to practice different religons.

    They were callled pilgrams, founded the Plymoth colony's. Helped by the local natives and tought farming, fishing, and hunting.
