Proclamation of 1763
This Proclamation didn't allow colonist to settle west of the Appalachian Mountains.The Brittish government feared the conflict between Colonist and Native Americans would lead to another war.They also couldn't afford to pay Brittish trooops to defend the western lands.Colonist were enraged by this proclamation because they felt they had won the right to settle in the settle in the Ohio River after winning the French and Indian War -
