    On January 25, 2011 the protest for national domacracy party began. Thousands walk to downtown Cairo, walking towards the offices of the ruling domacratic party. The protest went all over the country of Egypt. Everyone was angry, so that is why they started the protest.

    Mubarak steps down and military takes over. The military dissolves parliament and suspends the constitution, meeting two key demands of protesters. Because of suspending the constitution, that caused lots of problems. Once it started there was really not any chance of going back.

    A Muslim mob attacks the main cathedral in Egypt of the Coptic Orthodox Church. Christians hold a funeral and protest there over. Four Christians were killed in sectarian violence the day right before. Pope Tawadros II publicly blames Morsi for all this as a fail for protecting the building.

    The Supreme Constitutional Court orders the dissolving of the lower house of parliament. They are moving to the lower house of parliament for the supreme court in Egypt because of the protest for national domacracy. They are protesting for national domacracy becuase those who are fighting dont think it is fair.

    Egyptians vote in the presidential election between Morsi and Shafiq. Morsi wins the election with a 51.7 percent of egypt votes. Shafiq looses the election with a 48.3 percent vote. It was a very close elecion pretty much 50/50 for both Morsi and Shafiq.

    Egyptian soldiers open fire on Muslim demonstrators in front of a military base in Cairo. They killed more than 50 people who were Muslim. The Brotherhood calls for an uprising against the military. And then Brotherhood refuses to participate in the process becuase of this problem.

    Clashes and fights in the morning between security forces and Morsi supporters kill at least 38 protesters in Cairo. They were angry at everyone who did not support Morsi that they would be put to death. Everyone who didn't listen to Morsi would not want to be found, so they would hide so they would not die. Everyone who did not support Morsi was very scared.
