Boston Massacre
The Boston Massacre was about the colonists and soldiers harassing one another and British soldiers opened fire to the crowd killing five colonists. The event was used to fuel anti British feeling in the colonies. -
Declaration of independence
The commitee of the declaration of Independence included Benjamin Franklin, John Adams, Roger Sherman, Robert Livingston, and Thomas Jefferson. The group chose Jefferson to compose the Declaration. Because of the Declaration of Independence we are freed from britains rule. -
The Lewis and Clark Expedition
Thomas Jefferson sent Lewis and Clark to go explore the West. Clark he mad new maps for more people to go out west and buy land. Lewis discovered over 200 new plants and Animals. -
The Indian Removal Act.
On May 28th, 1830, President Jackson passed the Indian Removal Act. The act called for the government to negotiate treaties that would requre Native Americans to relocate west of the Mississipi. As the whites invaded their homelands many Native Americans had no other chice but to sign treaties and move. -
The Donner Party
On April 16, 1846, nine covered wagons left Springfieald Illinois on the 2500 mile journey to California. They went to go take a short cut that people said would take 350-400 miles off the trip. But no one ever tried the route. It ended up that it was acually longer than what they were going without the shortcut and hit astorm and James Donner had to turn tho Cannabilism to survive. -
Fort Sumter
On April 12th 1861 Confederate Soldiers open fire on Fort Sumter.After 34 hours of protecting Sumter Robert Anderson surrendered. This attack followed the fire and led to the beginning of the civil war. -
Harley Davidson
William Sylvester Harley was a co founder of the Harley-Davidson Motor Company. In 1901 William completed a blue print drawing of an engine designed to fit into a bicycle. In 1903 William and Arthur Davidson make availabe to the public the first production Harey Davidson. -
Brown vs. Board of Education
Brown was a girl by the name of Linda Brown. In the early 1950's came together under Brown vs. Board of education. It was to show that seperate schools were unequal. -
Oakland Raiders
The Raiders began playing in 1960 in American Football League (AFL). Then in 1970 they went to NFL. In the 1970's they won six division titles and played in six AFC championsips. -
The Death of Elvis
Elvis was born on January 8th 1935. Elvis grew up very poor and was a truck driver after highschool. When he was 19 he went to a recording studio and paid 4 dollars to make a few songs for his Mom. Sam Phillips the owner loved his voice and that started his career. In the mid 1970s he was decling in health do to his dependence on drugs. On August 16th 1977 he was prounounced dead. -

The first X games were held held in the summer of 1995. The competition often holds new trcks such as Travis Pastranas double back flip in freestyle motorcross. The X games media by bigname sponsors, Top athletes,and consitent fan attendence. -
Red Bull Rampage
The competition was held from 2001-2004 and ended do to increasing risk competitors were taking. The Rampage is about proffesional Mountain Bike riders come to free ride off cliffs and Mountains. -
Attack of the Twin Towers
Four airline Planes were highjacked by terroists and heading to New York. 2,800 people died from the planes and towers. In the sameday the Pentagonwas atacked by 1 of the 4 planes taken over by Al Qaeda. -
