    Jamestown was a settlement in the Colony of Virginia. The founding of Jamestown is important because it was the first permanent english colony. It is also 13 years before pilgrims landed at plymoth in Massachusetts. Jamestown served as the capital of the colony from 1616 untill 1699

    The steam boat is important because it carries more, goes faster, and can move up stream. If you had a flat boat you could sell the goods and the wood but then you have to walk home, that is time consuming.     Karlie won over 9 billion dollars off the lottery. She bought a house and began a soup kitchen and a store for the less fortunate. She also donated some of the money to other organizations.
