    Revolutions

    Although many revolutiosn brought new forms of government that stayed the same, the changes brought by th revolutions show a greater apperance in history.
  • Stamp Act

    This act, posed by the British government, brought many ideas of reform to the colonies in America. The changes are shown through the spark in revolution.
  • American Revolution

    The American Revolution was an attempt of the British colonies to seperate from Britan. The revolution brought many new ideas about democracy and ideas from the enlightenment.
  • French Revolution

    The French Revolution brought change to the world in terms of French ideas. The French Revolution brought many ideas of teh enlightenment to France, it gave the lower/middle class more and limited the control of the monarchy.
  • George Washington

    George Washington becomes the first president of the United States. This event shows continuity because Washington kept the ideas of the American Revolution strong when he ran the government.
  • Declaration of the Rights of Man and the Citizen

    The Declaration of the Rights of Man and the Citizen didn't bring change. It only voiced the ideas of the citizens again.
  • Radical France

    Many radical ideas were brought to France. The change was shown by the abolishment of the monarchy and the decapititaion of the king.
  • Napolean Bonaparte

    Napolean ends the French Revolution and gains the liberties of French citizens. There was no change here because the ideologies of the revolution stayed the same.
  • Greece and Spain

    Some revolutions started in Grece and Spain. This change started a rise in Liberalism and Nationalism in the countries.
  • Idustrialization

    Industrialization brought many changes to the way that people interacted with the economy. It made a working class that was very prodominate.
  • Reform Bill of 1832

    The bill allowed for more middle class men to participate in parliment. This doesn't show change because there were already middle class men in Parliment.
