    People from the Iberian Peninsula and the North of Africa arrived and started to make pottery, keep animals, grow corn --> they became sedentary.
    Build "henges": cottage with wood and stones inside circles.

    Beaker (from 2400 BC to 600 BC)

    New Indo-europeans groups arrived.
    They were taller.
    They became leaders.

    Celtic tribes

    Dominated both England and Ireland.
    Advanced in the use of iron to make weapons, very good farmers (grow cereals in heavier soils, trade and export).
    Red/blonde hair + blue/green eyes.
    Built forts on hills.
    Huge differences between North Celtics and South Celtics.
    Warriors and Druids (priests) managed the tribes.
    Didn't read or write but memorized by heart (legends, recipes, teachings....).

    Roman period

    Romans arrived in Britain (not Ireland nor Scotland = "Caledonia"). They set up from River Severn to River Humber and build Walls on both sides to protect from Celtic attaks.
    Romans encreased the economy: divided the towns in streets, bulit roads, shops, markets and buildings with heating.
