    In the early 1800's Italy was divide into spreate states. An italian named Sardinia ruled the north of Italy, but a Austria ruled the other northern states. The Bourbon family ruled Sicily, which is in the south, and the pope controlled the area around Rome, which is the capital today.
  • Approving Of The Leader

    While nationlists was growing more and more, the people of Italy decide that they did not want people from other country's trying to be leader of there country. Italy's people embraced idea's of unifying was on big country.
  • Not Agreeing

    When trying to agree on uniting as one big country of crouse did not work, Austria's wanted more land and to rule over people, which in this case they didn't want Italy to take over, and stand as one big country. Which uniting as a country failed.

    While failing to unitied Italy into one big country, Camillio di Cavour became prime minster of Sardinia and stared his on army formed up of shrewd alliance.

    After the war that Camillio di Cavou started, he won and sent the Austria way from the north were they had been Ruling from. The other Countires was conquered by Sardinia.

    A few months later, Garibaldi & Cavour joined there lands together and there power. Later in 1861 Italy became a United Kingdom. Ten Year Later Rome Became the capital, & which Rome is the capital of today in Italy.
