  • Railroad begins

    many black slaves were led by harriet Tubman across the underground railroad. They escaped to north staes and to Canada.
  • Hard Conditions

    There were many hard conditions along the way of the underground railroad the conditions became hard for everyone. Winter was coming and they needed food and water, and they were in risk of getting caught by the Ku Klux Klan. A white group against the blacks.
  • Railroad danger in and out

    if you joined the railroad you were there until you got where you were. you could not get caught by whites or you would be killed. And if you were saying i am going to go out of the railroad. you were shot and killed by harriet herself. Fortunately none was ever killed by her during the whole thing.
  • First victory

    In 1853 Harriet Tubman transportad more than 100 slaves over to the north and to Canada as her first victory in the Underground railroad. Eventually she transported more slaves to the north succeding even more.
  • Harriet Tubman returns

    After the firsr round of slaves being transported to The north and Canada. Harriet Tubman returnrd in 1853 to help get more slaves away from their masters. This continued to go on for more months of hard conditions and risks of getting caught.
  • The railroad ends.

    after many years of traveling with Harriet Tubman and many leaders of the underground railroad. It ended when slavery was abolished in 1865 and it was never heard of again. The routes were undiscovered and it all was left behind.
