    The Colonial Era was between the 1600s-1763. In this era Europeans took the land away from the Native Americans. They forced the Indians off of their ancestors land. This was important in history because it is when the American land was ripped away from the Natives.

    The signing of the Constitution is one of the most important moments in History. The Constitution was created to keep our government balanced and to keep our freedom from the government. Thirty nine delegates signed the Constitution. Benjamin Franklin was the oldest person who signed.
  • Gabrielle’s Rebellion

    Gabrielle’s Rebellion

    A slave from Richmond, Virginia planned to fight against Richmond for slavery rights. He gathered slaves to fight with him, they wanted to kidnap Governor James Monroe. Gabriel was not successful because his plan was ruined and he was later hung.

    Lewis and Clark Expedition

    A group of U.S. Army and volunteers went out to sea with Captain Meriwether Lewis and Lieutenant William Clark commanding them. They went out to explore the newly Louisiana Purchase, crossing many different waters.

    Civil War

    The Civil War is also one of the most important historical events. The Civil War started between Union (the North) and Confederacy (the South), they were fighting because the Confederacy wanted slavery to continue in the West but the Union wanted to end slavery. In 1860, Abraham Lincoln was elected president and opposed for slavery to continue in the West.
