    I had been hearing about this new thing called Dry Farming, and I decied to try it because all my crops were dying because of the heat. Dry Farming is used because during the hot season with little rain it will soak up the water that is in the ground of the soil.

    Today, I was outside working on the farm and a Native American tribe came up. I got to meet their chef Sitting Bull. He was born in the 1830's and he has been trying to help his tribe with the recent moving of the Native American's to reservations. To exclude them from the rest of America.

    So some other farmers and I got together and decided on this new idea to block off whos land is whos and to keep the cattle that some farmers have from running free. It is called Barbed Wire; it is made from a patent and we got the Barbed Wire from someone named Lucien B. Smith.
