    Containment- It was a US policy used to prevent the spread of Communism around the world. Arms Race/ Space Race- It was a race to see who was more superior and who could accomplish better and bigger things than the other. USSR- Was a federal Socialist State in Northern Eurasia Communism- Lead to a society in which all property is publicly owned and each person works and is paid according to their abilities and needs.
