  • 1865 - The Indian Wars

    The war was fought mostly in the northeast. It was one of the most interesting wars in my opinion.
  • 1804 - Lewis and Clark set out from St. Louis Missouri

    Lewis and Clark left for a reason, to exploe the west. They left from St Louis Missouri and stoped in Lolo Pass Montana. When they reached Lolo Pass they were almost out of food.
  • 1848 - Gold Rush

    The California Gold Rush took place between 1848 and 1855. The Gold rush was around for 7 years. Over 300,000 people wanted to be apart of the Gold Rush so they could be rich.
  • Pony Express

    1860 - Pony Express
    The Pony Express was a way people got mail. It was between St Joseph, Missouri and Sacramento California. In 1857 there were about 157 Pony Express stations.
  • 1825 - The Erie Canal is complete.

    Construction began in 1817 and was finished in 1825. The canal is 363 miles long and 40 feet wide. In 1825 the Canal was complete.
