Was trapped on an island with a Cyclopes. The beast ate most of his men, they got the cyclopes drunk and tricked him and took his eye. They rid under the bellies of ram to get out. Odyssey told the Cyclopes and the beast prayed to Poseidon that Odyssey will never make it home.
