    The trojan war analysis
I would say Odysseus learned the value of family. I say that because he decides to fight and prove his loyalty to his family. Odysseus knows that when the trojan war ends he gets to get back home to his family.

While Odysseus was gone, suitors stayed in Odysseus's home and worked for Penelope's hand in marriage because she was very attractive and was very wealthy. Helios cattle analysis

    Helios cattle analysis
I think Helios was angry and wanted some kind of revenge on Odysseus's men. I think he sent Zeus and some other gods to punish Odysseus and his crew. I also think that Odysseus wasn't prepared for what was going to happen because they would've fought back or avoided it. I learned that you have to be prepared for anything because you never know what is going to happen.

    Syclla and Charybids Analysis

    Syclla and Charybids Analysis
I think Odysseus made a bad call. I think this because he told his men to avoid Charybdis which made them pass Scylla which caused them to die. I felt that he put his crew in danger when they avoided it and led to them dying. I learned that sometimes Odysseus makes decisions he thinks are best for him and his men but are not.

    Sirens analysis

    Sirens analysis
I think that Odysseus was smart and did something that a true leader would do. He knows about the woman of the sea who trick men into shipwrecking their boats. He told them to tie him down and ignore anything he says. To me, this means that he is going to show why he is a leader and captain. From this, I learned Odysseus can really step up and be a leader when his crew needs him the most.

    Circe analysis

    Circe analysis
I think for Circe to go back to her own land and turn things into swine is cruel because that is her home town and she's supposed to do something to help it not harm it it. I Also think turning things into swine can be a good thing because if you are fighting you can turn them into swine and use that to her advantage. Something I learned was powers have negatives just as much as it has it does positives.

Analysis of Aeolus - Bag of wind

Analysis of Aeolus - Bag of wind
I think that for Odysseus's men to open the bag even though Odysseus told them not to shows they don't trust Odysseus and they don't listen to him. They opened the bag thinking that gold and silver was inside the bag, It shows they aren't trustworthy and strong-willed. I learned that Odysseus is a true leader because even after his men open the bag and caused them to fly away he still put his men before him and had a plan to get things done for his crew.

In the Odyssey, Aeolus gave Odysseus an unfavorable wind and a bag in which the unfavorable winds were confined. Odysseus' companions opened the bag even though Odysseus had told them no to. The wind escaped and quickly drove them back to the island where they were not supposed to be. Although he appears as a human in Homer, Aeolus later was described as a
    minor god.
