    The first self-propelled road vehicle was invented by Nicholas Joseph Cugnot. It's power was articulated to the trailer it steered from there by the means aof a double handle arrangment. The first self-propelled road vehicle could hold four passengers. The vehicle was very unsteady.

    The first hot air ballon was invented by the Montgolfier brothers in Annonay, France. The envolope was made out of linen and paper. The first passengers were a pig, duck, and a rooster. The Montgolfier brothers were able to fly one mile from their starting point.
