Romeo reads the guest list for the Capulet party to a servant who can't read. Romeo dicovers that Rosaline, the girl he loves at the beginning of the play, is going to the party. With a little convincing from Benvolio, Romeo decides to attend the party.

Lady Capulet and the Nurse discuss marriage with Juliet and she says she is not ready yet.

Tybalt sees Romeo at the Capulet party and wants to fight.

Romeo and Juliet meet at the party. Romeo loses all of his feelings for Rosaline and Romeo and Juliet kiss.

Romeo sneaks into the Capulet garden after the party and talks to Juliet from her balcony. They decide that they will get married in the morning.
Quote: "The exchange of thy love's faithsul vow for mine." -
Romeo talks to th Friar about getting married to Juliet. The Friar thinks that they are taking thing too fast, but he agrees to marry them because he hopes it will stop the family feud.
Quote: "Is Rosaline, that thou didst love so dear, so soon foresaken?" -
Tybalt sends Romeo a letter challenging him to fight, but Romeo hasn't come home yet to see it.

Juliet says she is going to confession, but really she is going to marry Romeo.

Tybalt stabs Mercutio under Romeo's arm and Romeo then stabs Tybalt.

Romeo is to be exiled for killing Tybalt.

Juliet is told that she is to get married to Paris on Thursday. This is a problem because she is married to Romeo.

Romeo comes to tell Juliet the Friar's plan and tell her goobye. The Friar yells Romeo to go comfort Juliet, leave before morning, go to Mantua, announce the marriage, and go back to Verona.

The Friair tells Juliet to say she will marry Paris, drink the potion alone on Wednesday, be put in the vault, and then when she wakes up Romeo will be there.

The wedding for Juliet and Paris is moved to Wednesday. This messes up the whole plan. Juliet drinks the potion early.

Romeo sees Juliet dead and he kills himself with poison.

Romeo doesn't get the letter from the Friar on time and he thinks Juliet is dead. Romeo then buys poison from an apothecary.

Juliet wakes up and sees Romeo dead. She tries kissing him to get poison from his lips, this does not work so she stabs herelf.

After the death of their children, the Capulets and Montigues stop fighting. They decide to make a statue for each others child's grave.
