Ancient people migrated to North America over the place where the Bering Strait is now, which was land then. They then moved throughout North America. If this hadn't happened, there wouldn't have been Native Americans if this event hadn't happened and the colonists might not have figured out how to live here, and then we wouldn't live here. -

Some of the leaders of the colonies signed the Declaration of Independence, declaring that they were not colonies, but their own country. If the Declaration had not been signed and sent to England, the US might been different now. We might be colonies still. Also, the Revolutionary War wouldn't have happened. -

On 9/11, terrorists drove planes into the Twin Towers, in New York, the Pentagon, and they hijacked another plane, but the passengers faught back and that crashed into a field in Pennsylvania. About 2000 people got killed in this attack. If this hadn't happened, there wouldn't be so much airport security, we wouldn't be so threatened by terrorists, and we wouldn't have gotten so involved in the Middle East.
