To what extent did the religions, ethnicities, and languages of the United Arab Emirates change because of its exposure to other cultures?

    In *ANTIQUITY (The Past) in the Arabian Peninsula, there was one dominant ethnicity that spoke a *SEMITIC (Language Family) language, and all followed one main belief. The Arabs took up a *VAST majority of the population, with a couple of other ethnicities including Bahranians and South Asians. They mostly spoke Arabic, which was part of a very large family of languages in the *MIDDLE EAST (Arabian P.). They all followed the practice of worshiping many gods, or *POLYTHEISM (Belief in many gods.)

    Islam spread to the Arabian Peninsula

    The UAE was exposed to Islam because they were spreading their belief *CIRCA (about) 7th century and helped to define much of its current day culture and religion. Islam was able to *DIFUSE throughout the UAE using the famous *SILK ROAD (huge road used for trading). It was then spread by the *MUSLIMS (Followers of Islam) around the Arabian Peninsula. The teachings still last today, making up 73.8% of the religious status.

    The UAE was exposed to Great Britain in 1819, greatly impacting the ethnicities. The main reason that this affected the ethnicities because the British foreigners moved into the UAE. Now there are about 120,000 British remaining in the UAE today. The British conquered the UAE because they wanted to gain complete control over the trade route in the *RED SEA, and the UAE was in the way. After the British conquered the UAE they *DISSECTED the UAE into seven different kingdoms.

    The UAE was exposed to many other countries including Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, and Kuwait and formed the *GULF COOPERATION COUNCIL (the union of all five of the countries) in 1981 and mostly effected the language. This is because they would all have to talk one language which was *ARABIC. This makes all of the governmental meetings happen in the same language. So the entirety of the government only speak Arabic.

    In the UAE today, there are very diverse ethnicities, most of which speak *MISCELLANIOUS languages, and follow unique religions. The majority of people are foreign workers, more than half of which are South-Asian. The main language spoken here is Arabic which has been spoken since antiquity and is part of a larger family of languages called Semitic. The main religious practice they followed is *HINDU (way of life) But there are still a ton of Muslims today.
