To what extent did the religion, ethnicities, and languages of the UAE region change because of its exposure to other cultures?

    During antiquity in the Arabian peninsula, the main ethnicity were the *Arabs who spoke a Semitic language and had their religion as a polytheism belief. Most of the people that lived in the UAE territory at the time were Arab clans and families. They also spread the language named *Arabic(a language still spoken by the UAE). They spread *Arabian Polytheism(the belief in the supernaturals and *deities(a divine being)).

    In a country that main religion is Islam, there is over 13% of the population is *Christian they were exposed somewhere in the early 1600s by *Europeans. In the early 1900s the religion only had 80 people that were Christian now it is 13% of the population, the pope has visited before, and they have 9 *churches in the country. This could be because of exploration and exposure to the *British during their invade, also foreign workers coming into the UAE.

    In 1975 many *Indians affected the ethnicities and views of the UAE by being close friends with the UAE which caused there to be over 1 million Indians in the UAE. They also share many political and social standpoints by having a close relationship between the two countries, they also exchange many *exports between the countries. They also increased their *bilateral trade(an exchange between trades within two countries).

    In UAE today, the Emiratis still use Arabic as their main language but their religion today has changed. The language is still Arabic and the people are known as Emirati(s) but only 11.8% (of 2015) are Emiratis the main ethnicity is Indians. *Muhammad spread the religion with the help of *missionaries, who spread Islam which people are called Muslims. With 76% of the population being Islamic and 16% of them being *Shi’a and the others *Sunni with the difference being *caliphs(Muhammad's rules)
