    In the morning on this day, all the passengers on board were amaized with the telegraphs and they received an iceberg warning.

    Around noon on April 14 they received two more ice warnings.
  • 7:30 p.m. April 14

    At about 7:30 the titanic received three more ice warnings one of them was from the Californian.
  • 11:00 p.m. April 14

    At 11:00 p.m. Jack Thayer went down to his cabin and put on his pajamas. He then tried going to bed for the night.

    At 11:40 on April 14 all the crew were hopeing that everything would be ok pretty soon but in a moment Fleet saw a dark figure looming out of the night right in front of the titanic. Tried to avoid the ice but couldn't. They avaoided a head on crash but still hit. Many of the passengers didn't even know what or that they even hit something.

    At midnight, the titanic began to sink. The mailroom was filling up with water and starting to get to the boiler rooms. They started to send out help signals and Bride suggested to send out the new SOS singal.
  • 12:30 am April 15

    At 12:30 captain Smith gave orders to start sending people of the ship in life boats. They children and women went first. The ship was very noticably tilting into the water. People still refused to get off the ship though because it was 'unsinkabke'. The band still played to try and relax things a little.
  • Dawn April 15

    At dawn all the survivors were hanging on for their lifes laying on the scraps of the damaged ship. All freazing from the bitter cold water, they see the light creeping up. And thats when they see a figure coming out of the distance, it was the carpathia to the rescue.
  • 2:05 am April 15

    At 2:05 there were still about 1,500 people on the sinking ship and there were no lifeboats left. The people remaining were trying to stay togehter for warmth as Bride and Phillips worked in the radio room. Once Smith came up and told them to dave themselves because it was everyman for themselves now but the stood for every moment. They finally took off when the water started to flow in.
