  • Germinal

    Right after fertilization in the fallopian tubes, the same germinal moves from there to the uterus to begin growing.
  • Embryo

    Embryo
    5 weeks into the pregnancy the placenta is forming and the embryo is receiving oxygen and nutrition through the placenta.
  • Fetus

    Fetus
    By the end stage of being an embryo the fetus development forms. This is when the baby grows all of the things needed for the world. All the organs grow, brain development occurs, and fetal movement happens enough the mother can feel it.
  • Birth

    The 9 month development of the baby is fully formed. The process of birth happens, sometimes by the singal of water breaking.
  • Developed emotion

    Developed emotion
    Baby's two emotions that are most common is distress and contentment.
  • 3 months

    By three months, most babies can sit up being supported.
  • Body size and weight gain

    There is significant amount of weight gain in children from birth to two years. Typically, the baby's birthweight is tripled in a year. By age 2, kids are about half their adult height.
  • Memory - 6 months

    Memory at six months is more often retained for a longer time than any baby younger then that. It is seen that they are remembering things from the day before.

    By the age of 8 months, babies have exprienced many emotions from the social smile to laughter to anger. It only continues to grow from there.

    Usually around the first year of life, children have said their first words that is reongized in the native language of the child.
  • 18 months

    By 18 months, the child's emotions have grown from laughter and anger to fear of social events, unexpected sights and sounds, and self-awareness, pride, shame and sometimes embarrasment.
  • Brain Development

    The brain develops lifelong, but in the first two years of life the brain grows more rapidly than it does for the rest of the life. It even grows faster than any of the other organs.

    By the age of 2, children are using words that are make sense together. For example, "cat sleeping!" would be an expression a child at the age might use.
  • My sister is born

    Even though, I always joke that I had two and a half blissful years alone before my sister came, we actually are really close friends and we do everything together.
  • 6th Birthday

    At 6, most kids weigh between 40 to 50 pounds and are at least 3 1/2 feet tall.
  • Emotional Development

    At early childhood, usually children know how to effectively express their emotions and have developed more then just having happiness and anger.
  • Language

    The language of a child is exploding. Age 6 a child knows anywhere from 5,000-7,000 words. They have a sense of grammar and can place words in a good sentence structure.
  • Motor Skills

    Motor Skills
    At age 6, kids can draw and paint with preferred words, can write simple words, can ride a bike, do a cartwheel, tie a shoe, and catch ball.
  • Hosptial Stay

    I stayed in the hospitial for 3 and a half weeks due to a blood clot in my transverse sinus vein. This is where I decided to be a nurse!
  • 8th Birthday

    8th Birthday
    Teeth are being lost and so is the freedom of not going to school. At this point, more kids are in school and might even be in certain classes like special education or speech therapy depending on the needs of each child.
  • Self-Awareness

    Self-Awareness
    As children grow up through, middle childhood they have a become self-concept which is understand who they are as a person. There is also self-esteem that is recongizable and can be low to the cultural influences around them. There can also be a lot of stress put on children around these ages, due to parent's divorce or conflict with school friends.
  • 11th Birthday - Memory, Reading, Math

    Memory has become more adaptive and children are becoming more able to learn various memory techinques taught by teachers and friends. Reading has become a rapid and fluent thing. Kids can reading aloud with no problem and can understand a paragraph about an unfamiliar topic. For math, kids have learned to add, subtract, mulitiply, and divide numbers. This happens between the ages of 9-11.
  • My dad gets diagnosed with cancer

    My dad got diagnosed with mesothelioma. It really showed me to value life and be thankful for what I have.
  • My Niece is Born

    My brother had his first child and she is so cute! I loved getting to watch her every Friday and now I'm excitedly waiting her new sister to come!
  • 18th Birthday

    Maximum height and strength is reached during this age. Multiple exciting events happen during this age like being allowed to vote and enrolling into college.
  • Stressors

    Stressors
    Stress becomes apart of everyone's life. Emotional stress, stress with school or maybe illness might come about. They seem to become more promininet during emerging adulthood.
  • Morals and Religion

    Childhood already has come where morals are determined. In young adults though, new morals and new ideas tend to form because of their coursework. In-depth disscusions allow new information to come across as well as new ideas to form. Religion gets decided due to that, because usually as a child you follow what church your parents go to. Being independent allows you to come up with what you believe in and follow your own path.
  • Family friend pases

    Our really close family friend passed away due to cancer. It was a tough time for everyone, but it made us all closer.
  • Subjective and Objective Thinking

    Subjective thinking comes from personal experiences while objective thinking is from abstract, impersonal logic. This is more available to emerging adults onward, because they have experiences from adolesences backwards.
  • Time Management

    Time Management
    While aware of it during adolescences, it becomes more of a fixure in adulthood. People in emergining adulthood are becoming more aware of the time and trying to manage it efficiently. I'm still trying to figure that out though.
  • Self-Awareness

    Self-awareness happens during emerging adulthood. Their cultural backgrounds become relevant, self-esteem rises, and personalities develop. New friends are made. Fewer emerging adults have obligations to their family or children, friends become their family and they help each other when things turn bad.
  • Love

    Realtionships start to develop with adults. Hooking up without commitments become pretty big. People start dating and becoming more serious with one another as time goes on.
  • Aging

    Continuing into adulthood, your body starts to age. Brain, body and even appearance can show signs of it.
  • 65th Birthday

    65th Birthday
    At the age of 65, people enter the age of late adulthood. Ageism becomes an issue in the community because of its prejudice towards older people are they are categorized and judged soley by their age.
  • The Senses

    The Senses
    Vision starts to decline. According to The Developing Person: Through the Life Span only 10% of people can see without glasses. By the age of 90, most men cannot hear and are considered deaf. The ability to hear really does show the age of elderly people because they can't hear it can limit fun activities they can do. Cognition is one of the main issue in aging. A lot of the elderly people lose their memory of where simple things are which can be very dangerous with things like driving.
  • Neurocongnitive Disorders (NCD)

    At this age, some elderly people will decline in what they can remember, though that isn't true with everyone. Some are still capable to understand deep questions and ideas. Major diseases that come up with age is dementia and it's worse form of it Alzehimer's. Another NCD's is Vascular NCD which is caused from a stroke and is where there is a progressive and random loss of intellectual function. Parkinson's disease is a chronic and progressive disease where muscles tremor and become rigid.

    Aging towards Death
    Most of the elderly will end up staying in the house that they grew their family with. Some will enter a nursing home or assisted living and all will stay there till death. They celebrate their life with everyone and they visit with people, play music, and enjoy everything.

    According to the Life Expectancy Timeline, I am supposed to die at the age of 76. At this point, I would have a loving family and have really done everything that I wanted to do when I was younger.
