The Prophet Muhammad was born in the year of 570CE in the town of Mecca. His named was derived from the Arabic verb 'harndada' meaning 'to praise, to glorify.'

Due to Mecca's new materialism idolatry, Prophet Muhammad decided to make some retreats to a mountain cave outside of town where he fasted and meditated. One day, Prophet Muhammad had a vision of the angel Gabriel and was told to recite the words on a green brocade which were: “in the name of thy Lord who created man from a drop of blood: read in the name of the Almighty God who taught man the use of the pen and taught him what he knew not before...”

After this experience, Prophet Muhammad decided to reveal the messages he was getting to his tribe. These were gathered verse by verse and later would become the Qur'an. In the next decade, Muhammad and his followers were first belittled and mocked, attacked and persecuted. After that year, Muhammad's wife and uncle passed away.

Prophet Muhammad is carried from Mecca to Jerusalem and then travels to the heavens and meets the previous prophets (Noah, Abraham, Moses, Isaiah etc)

Prophet Muhammad and his few hundrad followers left Mecca and headed off to Medina where he was invited to be the meditator of the leaders of Medina. This was where he stayed for the next six years, built the first Muslim community and started attaining more followrs

Early skirmishes led to three major battles in the next three years. Of these the Muslims won the first which was the Battle of Badr, they lost the second which was the Battle of Uhud and outlasted the third which was The Battle of the Trench and the Siege of Medina.

In March, 632, Prophet Muhammad returned to Mecca one last time to perform a pilgrimage, and tens of thousands of Muslims joined him. After the pilgrimage, he returned to Medina. Three months later he died there, after a brief illness. He was buried in the mosque in Medina.

After the treaty was signed, the balance of power had shifted radically away from once-powerful Mecca, toward Muhammad and the Muslims. In January, the Muslims marched on Mecca and were joined by tribe after tribe along the way.

Khadija proposes to Muhammad. He was 25, she was 40. They had six children- two sons that died at the age of infancy and four daughters.

During this time, a treaty called Hudaibiyah was signed between the two sides, which recognized the Muslims as a new force in Arabia and gave them freedom to move unmolested throughout Arabia.
