  • The Discovery of Madisonia

    The Discovery of Madisonia
    The country of Madisonia was discovered by explorers traveling west in the Lopez Ocean. The explorer credited with this dicovery was Tyler Madison. The country was later named after him.
  • Discovery of Volcano Island

    Discovery of Volcano Island
    Three years after Tyler Madison discoverd Madisonia, explorers from Madisonia discovered an island to the southeast of Madisonia. These explorers named the island Volcano Island because there is a giant volcano located on the island. The island then became part of the country Madisonia.
  • Volcano Eruption

    Volcano Eruption
    The volcano located on Volcano Island erupted and covered the island in lava creating a natural disaster. All the people living on the island had to evacuate to the main land of Madisonia. Not everyone made it onto the main land in time. About 500 citizens lost their lives that day. It took about 5 years to rebuild the island.
  • Invention of the Lava Pellets

    Invention of the Lava Pellets
    John Pellet was a scientist who invented the Lava Pellets. These pellets are dropped from airplanes over volcanos that are erupting. The pellets harden and cool the lava quickly so that it lessens the time for it to cause damage. He had this idea after the earlier volcano eruption to protect the people in the future.
  • Battle of the Dictator

    Battle of the Dictator
    Before 1956, Madisonia was ruled by a dictator. A battle broke out and the dictatorship was overthrown by soldiers who wanted freedom from the dictator. The soldiers won the battle so a democracy was established and has stayed since then. This battle became known as the Battle of the Dictator.
  • Terrorist Attack

    Terrorist Attack
    This was the first and only terrorist attack that occured in Madisonia. An airplane was hijacked by terrorists. The passengers took over the plane and the plane crashed into a field near the town of Faith. A total of 204 people died in the crash including the terrorists. No one knows what the hijackers plan was. Today there is a religious National Monument near the crash site to remember the people who died in the crash.
