Australians colonies government helped the queens parliament and did good for the queen . When they did this NSW representative government more power. -

The Eureka Rebellion men in the 1854 started to fight to have free mining licences and have a right for men to vote. When you looked suspicious they would ask you for your card and make sure you don't get away without it. -
Seperation
In 1859 NSW separated from the Moreton Bay District,Moreton Bay Became it's own colony/island with one big government. The same year All our colonies known today united in 1859 and they all had their own capital city like brisbane and Hobart. -

NSW and Victoria agreed to end Free trade in their countries,and it annoyed a tongue of people. -

Constitution Votes
Victoria,Nsw and Tasmania had their vote on the constitution saying yes or no. Victoria and Tasmania votes were fine to go ahead with the plan. But the Nsw's people were 8405 people of them being confirmed as yes. -
S.A constitution Vote
In South Australia they had their say about the constitution they all said yes. Every person Men,Lady or Aboriginal they all got their says. -
2nd Constitution Vote
They tried voting for the contusion again and this was the result : 29th of April- South Australia said yes
20th of June- NSW said yes
27th of July- Victoria and Tassie said yes
2nd of September- Queenslanders said yes. -
W.A Votes
It was time that W.A voted so they did. The answer from W.A was go ahead with the constitution.W.A made it fair so that the women of W.A got a say of what they wanted too. -
The commonwealth goverment
The commonwealth government takes control of free trade and makes sure all the Australia says that have been voted or propose they will start evening those things out! -
Elections
Australia held their first elections,But only some aboriginal ladies could were allowed to vote. (SA,NSW,Vic and Tasmania were allowed to vote.) Fewer countries allowed Australian people to vote if you were in SA or WA you got to vote but every one else could not vote. This was unfair because all men and aboriginal men were allowed to vote and made the ladies feel unwanted and not have as much as a say then men. -
Labor Party
In 1901 they created the labour party called ALP (Australian Labor party.) -
New Australian Flag
After Australia became a nation they made our new Australian flag,they gave everyone a choice of their design and there was a humongous amount of people who wanted to have their design all over Australia and have the flag known by other countries. That same day they flew the new Australian flag.
