    CoG applied for and received 501(c)(3) IRS
    status as a religious nonprofit organization.
  • Rise in popularity

    Witch craft was becoming more accepted and popular around these times
  • The very first Grand Council of CoG is held

    The first Grand Council (the annual business
    meeting required by California law), is held in
    Coeden Brith, Northern California, United
    States convened by Gwydion Pendderwen and
    Alison Harlow. Alison Harlow is appointed to
    perform the duties of the first National Officer
    for the meeting.
  • First CoG Grand Council after becoming a 50 1(c)(3) held in Arequipa, Northern California, United States

    Starhawk is the first person to be elected as
    the National First Officer (NFO).
