    Paleolithic Age/Era

    Paleolithic Age/Era means Old Stone Age! People who lived as nomads, and people who were very dependent on their surroundings, and resources in the wilderness. They used lots of stone and wood. Cave people are another example of someone who lived in the Paleolithic age.
  • Ice Age
    100,000 BCE

    Ice Age

    Sheets of ice froze over like large water areas. They had lots of glaciers around. People who lived when this was happening could walk over oceans to get to different continents. Here is an example nomads would travel across iced oceans while following mammals/their future food.

    The Start of Farming

    Egyptians were the very first ones to start farming. It started to spread further throughout the world. They started doing it towards the end of the Paleolithic Age and entered the Neolithic Age. Since they were inside the Fertile Crescent, everyone in there was next to continue it.
  • Neolithic Age/Era

    Neolithic Age/Era

    Neolithic Age means New Stone Age! The Neolithic Age is right after the Paleolithic Age. People who lived in the Neolithic Age created lots of amazing inventions but the best one that they invented was the wheel. Some more amazing things that the Sumerians invented were cuneiform, sailboats, wooden plows, and bronze.
  • Sumer/Sumerian People

    Sumer/Sumerian People

    Sumerians/the people who lived in Sumer were all pretty educated. They had merchants, artisans, kings, priests/nobles, scribes, farmers, and slaves. They might not seem it but Sumerians were very violent. they would conquer places then enslave the place's people and treat them harshly. Most punishments would lead straight to torture or death. This goes for most people/places around this time.
  • Bronze Age/Era

    Bronze Age/Era

    The people who figured out how to use bronze were Ancient Sumerians. They figured out that when you mend copper and tin together you get Bronze. Bronze was one of the biggest things in the late Paleolithic Age and most of the Neolithic Age. Since so many people used copper and tin for bronze there started to be a shortage, then they were all out of it. So they invented/created something else. It was much better than Bronze it was Iron. That is when the Bronze Age ended and the Iron Age started.

    The Start of Ancient Egypt

    Egyptians would build pyramids for the pharaohs when they died. Pyramids are a very big thing for Egyptians. Egypt was where the first time someone had started farming. Their religion is Polytheistic. Polytheistic is when you worship many gods.

    King Narmer united lower and upper Egypt, creating a dynasty. A dynasty is when a role or position is passed down from father to son. What King Narmer did helped out Ancient Egypt by far!

    The old kingdom was the very first start of Ancient Egypt. This is when they started building tombs/pyramids for their pharaohs. The Pharoah's job was to be their people's religious is political leader. The ancient Egyptian religion was polytheism.
  • Akkadian Empire

    Akkadian Empire

    The Akkadian Empire was the very first Empire to happen. The Akkadians were also Polytheistic. The one God who they thought was the best though was named Enlil. King Sargon was the one who founded the Akkadian Empire. King Sargon was the one who conquered the Mesopotamia. They also took over the Sumerians.

    Mesopotamia means the land between two rivers. The two rivers that it is between are the Tigris and Euphrates. Mesopotamia is where writing has been created. Mesopotamia created many things that had an impact on our lives here. Agriculture was a big part that impacted their own lives in that time.

    Hinduism

    Hinduism is one of the longest-lasting religions that are in the polytheism genre. Hinduism is mainly practiced in India. Hinduism is based on the 7 core beliefs and the 4 rules. Hinduism is very focused on finding balance, love, and your worth. There is a caste system/levels The highest is when you are enlightened and are not dead but do have a body. If have good karma you get raised up a level. If you have bad karma then you go down a level or stay the same.
  • The Middle Kingdom

    The Middle Kingdom

    The Middle Kingdom is when most of the really interesting stuff happens. The middle kingdom is when they start using the Nile River more and more. They don't build pyramids as much either. They are building and building their population. They started doing more artistic creations, and created things we still use today, but of course in a more modified version.

    Babylonian Empire

    The Babylonian Empire is known for its laws, the location, and their architecture. The King Nebuchadnezzar helped make Babylon thrive after his father died. Babylon is the founding place of the Hanging Guardians.
  • Hyksos overruled Egyptians

    Hyksos overruled Egyptians

    The Hyksos attacked and tried to conquer Egypt. This did end up happening. The Hyskos overruled the Egyptians because of their lack of fighting and weapons. Once they learned more and obtained more weapons they took back their land and conquered the Hyskos.
  • Assyrian Empire

    Assyrian Empire

    The Assyrian Empire was one of the most violent and most military empires at that time. They would conquer, kidnap, steal, you know all of those types of things. They were also Polytheistic. So that means they worshipped many Gods.
  • Tut became a Pharaoh

    Tut became a Pharaoh

    King Tut started to rule Egypt at the age of 9 years old. He ended up ruling for 10 years, so he died at the age of 19 years old. he died from getting a mosquito bite, that mosquito was carrying malaria with it. He was married to Ankhesenamun who was also his half-sister. King Tut's actual name is Tutankhamun (Tut). He was found in his tomb with his wife Ankhesenamu and his two daughters. For pharaohs whenever they die someone is usually in the tomb with them. Sadly!!
  • King Amenhotep

    King Amenhotep

    King Amenhotep was a pharaoh for Egypt he changed their religion to praising a God that he was told that he was the son of. Everyone did not agree with this, especially the priests. Once he died and King Tut became Pharaoh he brought back the old religion because since he was 8 years old when he became Pharaoh he still had lots to learn. the preists raised King Tut so that he could put back the old religion.
  • Iron Age

    Iron Age

    They started the Iron Age because they didn't have enough copper and tin, since they did not have either of these things they wouldn't be able to make bronze. So they created Iron by melting rocks.
  • Ramses 2nd

    Ramses 2nd

    The pharaoh Ramses the 2nd did lots of good for Egypt he created peace between other nations/empires. he raised the confidence and power of Egypt. Once he died others took their opportunity and took over Egypt. The Kushites went straight after Egypt once they heard that The pharaoh who could stop them had died. the Kushites came from Nubia. Nubia is towards the bottom right of Egypt.
  • Chaldean Empire

    Chaldean Empire

    They were known for things like S.T.E.M. Chaldeans were very educated. Their government was a Monarchy. Most of their people were Christians. Which means they only believed in one God.
