    Racism in the United States
Racism has caused discrimination among many different religions, races, and political beliefs. Children that were not white were not allowed to go to the same schools as white boys and girls, adults were sold like animals to white people, and often times yelled at, beaten, and even killed. This changed families by making them think they deserved less than others and were not given the same opportunities to thrive off of.
